Questions about board repair

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

That depends on the model, damage and work required. Contact us with your model and symptoms; the final quote and timing follow inspection.

Does a black screen mean the CPU has failed?

No. A black screen alone does not identify the cause. The two cases above describe repairs on those specific devices.

Is board repair the same as replacing the whole board?

Board repair works on connections or components on the existing board. A whole-board replacement is a different repair option. Inspection determines which options are appropriate.

What if the files on my device are my priority?

Tell us before authorizing work. These repair cases do not establish a data-recovery guarantee; discuss your priorities as part of the assessment.

What should I send before visiting?

Send your device model, what happened, whether it responds to power, and any previous repairs. Photos of visible damage can help explain the situation.
